Lindsey Bargelt

Lindsey is a lifelong traveler-- but since she can't travel 24/7, she loves to live vicariously through her clients! She brings her expertise and experience to custom itineraries and provides tips and recommendations on what to see, do and where to eat. She has experience working with retired couples, honeymooners, and young families-- and is gaining experience herself traveling with a baby as a new mom! No destination is out of reach to plan.

My Story

Lindsey inherited a love of travel from her mother, a travel agent in the 90s heyday of travel. She especially remembers her first Caribbean cruise, where she made lifelong friends at age 12, and her first Alaskan cruise, where she discovered a sense of adventure in nature and decided to pursue an education in environmental conservation. As a student of Environmental Science at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, Lindsey had the pleasure of studying abroad in Ecuador and Scotland. She attended graduate school in Ontario, Canada, continuing to travel abroad whenever she could, and explored Iceland inside and out on her honeymoon. She has recently traveled to Belgium, St. Lucia, New Orleans, San Francisco, and Hawaii, but her dream destination is Greece!

The Rest is History....

She’s lived all across the United States: NC, CO, WA, WY, and MS, before settling down in Northern New Mexico. After growing up near the ocean though, she loves to travel to beachy places and visit the sea whenever she can. She encourages local travelers to take advantage of short flights to Hawaii and Alaska, but accepts clients from around the US. 

In addition, Lindsey has several tips for how to travel sustainably and for how to off-set your carbon use.

Favorite place to travel: Scotland feels like a second home to her. Lindsey is obsessed with the Outlander books so she loves to visit places in the books and think about the long history of the land. Known to few, Scotland also has nice sandy beaches!
