Thanks for stopping by! I’m a travel designer specializing in custom, independent travel worldwide, luxury travel, family travel, romance travel and much more!  

I love helping people plan vacations - from weekend getaways to month-long adventures in a far-away land, taking the worry and stress out of your trip planning. In these uncertain times, it’s so great to have a professional on your side, dealing with any unforeseen “surprises” that pop up on your journey. I would love to work with you!  

My Story

I fell in love with travel as a kid exploring our beautiful country on family vacations. Since then, my wanderlust nature has taken me to Peru with Machu Picchu and the Amazon Rainforest, Mexico and the Caribbean, Puerto Rico, and Europe. Six years ago I moved to Colorado for the outdoor opportunities, but I hail from the midwest - Iowa to be specific. (The one with corn, not potatoes:) I’m a widowed mom to two grown children, Dane and Claire, and a sweet border collie named Willie. 

The Rest is History....

A few years ago, I was working in the corporate world and had my life plan completed with the help of a professional coach. She made me realize that my position was not a good fit for me, and I believe her exact words were, “Jill, you need to work in the travel industry!” What an “aha moment” that was, I had thought about doing this my whole life, and had planned countless trips for my family and friends. Six months later I joined this wonderful team of designers at Briar & Main, and never looked back! When I’m not busy planning dream trips for clients or myself, I can be found hiking in these gorgeous Rockies surrounding me.

I’m proud to say I just recently beat breast cancer after nearly two years of surgeries and treatments!! Yep! Kicked its butt to the curb!!! The experience really put things in perspective, and I am ready to explore the world and help you do the same! I would absolutely love to help you plan the details of your next vacation, whether it’s to Mexico, the Caribbean, Hawaii, Europe, South America, or a U.S. destination! I can plan every detail of your all-inclusive resort, cruise, or custom itinerary trip. All you have to do is pack your bags and send me a few pics of your vaca – haha!
